SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival in Forsyth Park
This fun and exciting event is enjoyed by thousands of spectators and participants each year. Forsyth Park is beautiful in the Spring and makes a perfect location for this outdoor community event sponsored by the Savannah College of Art and Design. The festival features a chalk drawing competition on the sidewalks of Savannah's Forsyth Park. Drawing competition entries are judged and prizes are awarded. The event also includes food, and children's and youth areas for young artists as well as music throughout the day.
Admission is free and open to the public. The chalk competition features categories for students, alumni and prospective students.
The 2008, SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival in Forsyth Park was scheduled for Saturday, April 26th.
